Crash At Davenport Dampens 2008 Debut
Denny Eckrich Motorsports started their 2008 Race Season with a stop at the Davenport Speedway (Davenport, IA). It was also the season opener for the World Dirt Racing League.
After racing his way into the 40-lap A-Main via a B-Main, Eckrich started 18th. The Flying 50 was slowly working his way towards the front when trouble occurred.
A car in front of Eckrich lost control coming off of turn four. That car bounced off the front stretch wall and collected Eckrich's car. There was heavy rear end damage as a results forcing Eckrich to the pits for the night.
